  • Remote control conversion 94 Yamaha 9.9

Hello I just purchased a 1994 Yamaha 9.9 2 stroke tiller. I have set it up on my boat and was wondering what parts I would need to convert it to remote control, for throttle cable and shifting cable. I can not seem to find what I am looking for on on the internet, any help would be much appreciated.

Up to you ,,,, I would leave it as a tiler and buy an electric throttle control like a ***** master. And steer with a bow mount for *****ing. If you put a throttle cable on it
will change rpm's when you turn the engine.

I wouldn't mind the ***** master but I would also like to be able to shift without going all the way back to the motor can you get a ***** master that will shift too

                    Walleye1 knows his walleye stuff.

Can walleye fish be frozen? For comparison, my world, tuna kinda sucks if frozen.

Yamaha offered a remote control attachment kit for a 1999 9.9 two smoke.

                        They also offered a kit for a 1992 9.9.

                        http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Ya...ENT/parts.html

You can compare the parts catalog for your 1994 9.9 two smoke with that for the 1999 model to try and determine if either kit will apply to your motor.

freezing fish/seafood in water is old school.
we froze shrimp in water over 50 years ago to keep it for many months at a time
vacuum packing is the way to go now a days.
just keep air away from the flesh when it is frozen to keep from freezer burn and keep the O2 from it
