  • Space Station !!!!!

The Space Station was visible down here this am about 6:00a.

It flew from the SW to the NE, very, very bright. Didn't take 5-6 minutes to cross the entire sky (from my visual from beginning to end)

    Very, very cool!!!!

Heck it could have a high flying plane it was so bright and zipping along really fast (about 75 degrees up from my vantage point)

Pretty amazing to watch isn't it? It don't long to cross our field of view when doing 17,000 mph!!

last I read it is going to impact earth sometime this month. the article said most of it should burn up but pieces as large as 200Kg may make it to earth.

from what I read they did not decom it, they simply lost control of it and it may tag the northern hemisphere sometime between the end of this month to the end of jan 2018. all they really say right now is they don't know when or were but it is landing someplace.

I googled it and thats what was in print. China's Tiangong-1 space station has been orbiting the planet for about 5 years now, but recently it was decommissioned and the Chinese astronauts returned to the surface. In a press conference last week, China announced that the space station would be falling back to earth at some point in late 2017.

Maybe it'll take out the rest of my sea wall and I can have China pay for the re-construction..
