1998 90 Hp Trim and Tilt seal repair

Hey everyone,

I've looked at a lot of different websites trying top find this info but I'm still kind of lost. Both my tilt/trim seals are leaking fluid and I need to replace them. I'm trying to figure out schematics and the best way to fix this.

I basically need to replace the caps, rings, etc because they're old and faulty but I'm not sure how. Any help is appreciated since I'm not sure where to get the parts and exactly how I'm supposed to do it. I've been looking at the following thread but the alignment is not a 90 hp motor.

Again, any help via diagram or instruction is appreciated. I just need to replace the seals and it should be good to go.

Hi ,
The parts details you can get on boats.net and for the rest do yourself a favour and get the w/shop manual .
The removal & installation is described there as well as the bleeding procedure .
It is not rocket science but it starts already with right tooling to get the caps off .
