  • Bent skeg

Recently put a pretty nasty bend in the skeg of my F115. I have managed to get it within about 1/4" of being straight. What I did was use a claw hammer and block of wood, striking the one side and holding the block of wood on the other. So far I have spent about 3/4 hour to get to where im at so it s a slow process.

Just wondering if anyone has any other ways of doing this or suggestions.

    Thanks in advance

You are doing the only thing you can do with out breaking it,, slow is better,

typically the skeg only bends once.
usually it breaks the second time.
