  • carbs control linkage

I am switching out a 2006 yamaha 50ltr w/ a 1999 yamaha B90tlr. It seems the threaded rods on the cables which attach to the carbs linkage are not the right length. Are there linkage extenders or do I need to buy new cables?

best I recall the engine attaching ends are different between the 50 and the 90.
    cables are the same.

        control cable

It appears that the cable was not long enough from the point it fits into the crowling where it is held in place or at leat that is what I thought. I know the piece #6 hole was not big enough to slide onto the male connection point, but I figured I could drill the hole a bit larger in PC#6. how sure r u the cable is the right length? Just asking because I'm a novice!!!!!

if the cable worked with the 50 it will work with the 90.
          its a 33 series cable.
          the engine attaching ends differ.
simply purchase the correct 1 dollar parts and proceed.
