    taser ?
from what I have read somewhere between 55Kv to about 100Kv.
last time I really got zapped was from a so called dead 480 buss bar.
did not know that one phase was tapped off an adjoin bar.
lost a fingernail on that one.
    blew it smooth off.
muscle contraction landed me about 6ft away.

    lesson learned you ask?
never EVER take some ones word.
ALWAYS double check with that newfangled instrument called a multi-meter.

So I found this thread searching for any help because I have a VX225TLRZ that smokes terribly upon startup (only upon startup after being warm) I pulled the cowl and found my oil pump linkage being out of adjustment by close to an 1/8th of an inch. I backed off the shutter stop screw and proceeded to adjust my oil pump linkage. I had to remove a few threads from the arm to get the adjustment. I ordered the 2 "O-rings" on the pump and will replace them once received. I've added some pictures to help anyone that might be having the same issues. I'll get her back out on the water in a day or so, hopefully my James Bond smoke screen will be gone.
