  • 90 AETO, one plug not getting spark

Hi I have found one plug is not getting spark, changed the coils around with another just to check and the same cylinder stays dead which tells me the coil is OK but there is no voltage coming from the CDI (?)

What should my next action be please? I have checked the wiring visually up to where it enters the CDI unit.

dont know, the US market and the international markets were different sometimes.
does your stator use 3 pulser coils?
two pulser coils and a crank position sensor?

Hi it has a Lighting coil, pulsar coil, crankshaft position sensor, and a charge coil. I have checked all connections too and still same problem. Have since also aquired the specs for testing now I'm just deciding whether to do it myself or get help.

Which cylinder isn't firing? Check peak voltage output readings of pulsor coils and crank sensor

Test pulsor coil and CDI peak voltage output.
