  • F100 key switch replacement wiring doesn't match

I am replacing my keyswitch and safety stop on my 2000 F100 (TLRY) as the prior owner had an electrical short in it that was repaired, but looks iffy.

The original switch was superceded twice to this P/N 10-703-82510-12-00 (or maybe the leading 10 is a boats.net number?)

The boat had a 1988 175 yamaha 2 stroke with a 10 pin harness. I ran it last year just fine.

The new switch doesn't have the alarm wire (yellow/pink) -I connected it to yellow, or choke (blue?) I understand the choke is not needed, but I think I am going to need the alarm- I want to make sure I did it right.

    Thanks!

The buzzer yellow wire needs to connect to yellow wire of key switch and buzzer pink wire connects to pink wire in 10 pin harness.
