Weak spark at idol speeds. Runs mint at higher Rpms. Swapped a coil from upper cylinder, same propblem. Coil wire looks good. Do I have a bad CDI box? Clean grounds too.
The spark gap for Yamaha engine's is only 9MM which is a small gap compared to other outboards. You would need a peak reading volt meter and service manual to test ignition system
