Hi all i'm a newbie on here so this is the first post.
I have a 1989 Yamaha 70Hp that works well, it takes a while to start but that's no biggie. The problem occurs when we've been on the water for a while starting and stopping at different spots and then it gets progressively harder to start. The engine turns over but it just won't kick and this can go on for a long time so the battery tends to drain, I've checked the spark plugs and they seem fine and we always prime the fuel. It always seems to start eventually but has been pretty touch and go!
Any suggestions greatly appreciated
