  • Yamaha gauge wiring and mysterious item

Ok. I purchase a new speedo/fuel management gauge to replace a broken speedometer/fuel gauge. (Round) paired to a 94 250hp. Behind the gauges connected into the wires coming from the tach and speedometer was a part with the number 4323 on it. (see pic attached). Can anyone tell me what it is and what each of the wires is for? There are two white, one black and one yellow.

    Thanks, Nick

It is a relay that was used on the 94 speedometer to solve a battery drain problem. Wont need it with new gauges.

Troubleshooting a battery drain problem on my 2001 100F. Ended up finding the principle offender is eliminated when I remove the fuse from the red wire going to the gauges (as far as I can tell its going to the speedo).

Any idea what the part number is for that relay (or how the relay is wired as perhaps I can scab something together myself).

        Thanks,

Anyone have the install instructions for 2004 Yamaha fuel management?
